Methodology
- We build real test accounts. Every platform we rank gets a trial account where we run the same workflow: create a customer, quote a job, schedule it, dispatch it, invoice it, and take a (test) payment.
- We price at three team sizes. Solo, 5-person, and 15-person configurations, using public list pricing, re-checked quarterly. Estimates are labeled as estimates.
- We read owner communities weekly. Sustained complaint patterns (support wait times, billing surprises, app outages) feed our 'what to watch' sections.
- Vendors don't pay for placement. Some links are affiliate links — if you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Rankings are set before monetization is considered, and several top picks pay us nothing.
Corrections policy
When we're wrong, we fix it and date the fix. Errors reported via the contact page are typically corrected within a few days. Every substantive page displays its last-updated date.

We use AI tools for research aggregation and drafting; every published claim, number, and verdict is reviewed and owned by a human editor. Sources and dates are cited on data-bearing pages.
